Overview

The Sonim XP3800 is an ultra-rugged 4G LTE bar phone built for demanding work environments. Rated MIL-STD-810G and IP68, it withstands drops, dust, and full submersion. Available on AT&T, Verizon, and US Cellular networks.

Lockdown Options

The XP3800 supports a single lockdown tier managed by Yoder Connections. Lockdown is priced at the moderate rate. Any app on the phone can be individually blocked. Lockdown can be changed or reverted to OEM at any time. Video cannot be locked separately from other features.

Lockdown can be applied or modified remotely as long as the phone has an active data connection (plan or Wi-Fi). Remote lockdown change fee: $19.00.

Operational Notes

PTT Button

Carrier service plans offered by Yoder Connections do not support the push-to-talk (PTT) function. On some units, pressing the PTT button causes the phone to lose service until it is power-cycled. To prevent this, remap the PTT button to another function or disable it:

Open Settings from the app list.
Scroll to Programmable Key(s) and open it.
Select PTT Key to remap; YELLOW for the yellow button; ALARM for the red button.
Choose the desired application, or select No Application / No Action to disable.

SIM Slots

The XP3800 has two SIM slots. Only the SIM in tray 1 is functional.

Call Screening

When setting up call screening (whitelist/blacklist), enter numbers in this format on the sales order: 6417775273,6417990302,6417994013 (comma-separated, no spaces).
